This place is huge! There are dining rooms adjacent to the bar area, up some stairs brings you to where private parties are reserved, then up a few more stairs there’s a large room with several tables. That is where you can attend Open Mic Comedy sessions every Monday night. Some were funny, some not as much but that’s to be expected. It would have been nice to have had more gals, but there was only one. The food was delicious (photos are bad as the lights were down for Open Mic). I really liked the chicken tenders. The House Salad & Parmesan Fries were also good. We had to order food at the upstairs bar. The wait staff was good about clearing the dishes and probably would have brought our food to us but we were checking on it as it came out. The beers are big and there were some interesting choices. The grapefruit drink was refreshing. Street parking on the side roads is easier to find.

10/10. Can't beat this place. Great food, energy, and vibe. Staff is incredibly hospitable and the ambiance is amazing. You have such a warm and inviting experience from the minute you walk in - and that's without even tasting the food, which is fresh and authentic. Highly recommend. Will be a regular!!

Excellent spot. Service at the bar is better than at the tables. Traditional beer hall vibe, but without the long shared tables. You can get a Hofbrau for 7 on happy hour (1/2L, not full 1L). The spatzle with cheese is excellent, and also only 7.

MUNCHEN Alexandria Bier Garden offers a fantastic German dining experience with a great selection of authentic beers and delicious food. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to hang out with friends or enjoy a casual night out. The outdoor seating adds to the charm, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Whether you're there for the bratwurst, pretzels, or a cold pint, it’s always a good time.

My wife and I were in Alexandria for the day and we visited this terrific establishment for drinks and food. There were so many different beers to choose from, the food was exceptional, and the staff were fantastic. It is definitely my kind of place. Unlike a lot of venues on the East Coast, the bar was also screening European Championships games. We are visiting the US from Scotland, and the Alexandria Bier Garden has been our favourite place for food and drinks.

We had our wedding after party at Alexandria Bier Garden, and it was an absolute blast! The space worked perfectly for more time to party and catch up with our guests in an intimate setting, with the amazing bonus of the live band!! The setting was so perfect, easygoing, and fun.

We came in on a Tuesday during Happy hour and the experience was amazing overall. Right away we were greeted by a server (I believe his name was Carlos and he provided excellent service)! I ordered the chicken taco special on Tuesday and added some other HH appetizers and all of the food was delicious! Also numerous beers are only 6 during HH - I got the Paulaner Oktoberfest Marzen and it was great! Will definitely be visiting this place again as their HH and daily specials are amazing

This place is just awesome. The pretzels are delicious and the grapefruit raddler with vodka hit the spot. I am not a big beer drinker like my friends and so the radler was perfect for someone like me and I highly recommend it. The live band was fun and we danced around the tables. Our server Keelee (forgive me if I misspelled that) was so kind and attentive. It was a busy night but she did great and we were a very chill group just enjoying the music and each other's company. We will definitely keep coming back especially if they keep booking great bands. I wish there was more space on the floor for dancing but we did pretty good just staying around our table. Update: will provide additional reviews but this time of the rooftop experience when I visit in a couple of weeks.
